How to Vote Absentee?
Primary Election - absentee ballots will be available not later than June 29, 2024 and can be requested with the City Clerk.
General Election - Ballots will automatically be mailed to all active registered voters, not later than October 1, 2024. If you do not receive a ballot please contact the City Clerk's Office at 2 Lincoln St.

Where to Vote?
- In person voting for both primary and general elections at the City of Essex Junction polling location - Champlain Valley Exposition - from 7am to 7pm
- Prior to primary and general voting day ballots can be dropped in the ballot box at our municipal office located at 2 Lincoln St
- Returned by mail. Please remember to give enough mail delivery time for the ballot to be received prior to election day
Important Information
- Follow the directions on the ballot and remember to sign the envelope!
- Remember you can vote for TWO Chittenden 22 State Representatives on your General Election ballot.
- You can check the status of your mail in ballot here: https://mvp.vermont.gov/
- You can register to vote right up until each Election Day.
